[Kim Minichiello](https://www.kimminichiello.com/) passed away at the age of fifty-five last week. This loss is particularly hard felt by [Debra Keirce](https://www.debkart.com/). She and Kim were long-time friends who traveled together, co-promoting each other’s art skills, organizing shows and podcasts. They were both founders of the [WAM](https://www.wamartists.com/) (Women. Artists. Masters) group. Robert Bateman (1930- ) is a Canadian naturalist, educator, and painter. His artwork has been strongly influenced by his far-reaching travels, particularly a two-year stint in a Land Rover traveling the world.
