I was recently asked if it was possible to automatically open links to other websites in a new tab.

Yes! Here is the solution:

  1. Click on the circle icon in the upper right-hand corner
  2. Click on the gear icon to navigate to your preferences
  3. Scroll towards the bottom to the ‘Other’ section
  4. In the ‘Other’ section, click on the checkbox ‘Open all external links in a new tab’
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Save Changes’

That’s it. Now when you click on a link it will open in a new tab instead of the same window. :slight_smile:
