The following steps show you one of the ways to add an image to a reply.
These instructions apply to the desktop version of Smartermarx.
Add an image
- Find a topic that you’d like to reply to. Click on ‘Reply.’
- Click on the Upload icon at the top of the reply window.
Tip: If you hover over an icon, text will appear that describes its function.
Browse to your image
- Choose an option from the window that appears. You can either select ‘From my device’ to add an image that is saved on your computer or ‘From the web’ to choose an image from the internet.
In this example, we are going to choose ‘From my device’ to add an image saved on your computer.
‘From my device’ should be automatically selected.
- Click on the ‘Browse button’ next to ‘From my device.’
A new window will appear that allows you to find your image on your computer. I'm going to choose an image from my desktop.
- Click on the image name to select it.
- Next, click on ‘Open’ at the bottom of the window.
The image name will now appear next to the 'Browse' button.
- Click on the ‘Upload’ button at the bottom of the window.
In a few seconds, code that will display your image will appear in the reply window.
Your image is now added. You can continue to add comments to your reply. Just make sure to leave the code untouched so your image will display.
