The Famous Zorn Palette

Below are some links that explain with examples, the painting palette of the Swedish realist artist, Anders Zorn.
It is especially useful for painting portraits indoors as the colour gamut focuses on orange/ochres/low chroma reds, similar to skin tones.

It is essentially a restricted gamut of low chroma primary colours: Yellow becomes Yellow Ochre, Blue becomes Ivory Black and Red becomes Cadmium Red Deep.
