Website Provider

Hi everyone,
Can anyone recommend a website maker/provider with all the simplicity in the world?
Thanks

A GREAT question Agnesdale. This is Leah’s domain (@LWaichulis). I tagged her here so she’ll be quick to chime in.

Hi Agnesdale! I have two ideas for you. First, if you already have Adobe’s Creative Cloud, you can use their super easy website builder for free. Here is a link to Adobe Portfolio: https://www.myportfolio.com/.

Another idea is Weebly: https://www.weebly.com/. I haven’t personally used this one but it received good reviews for ease of use and it’s supposed to be one of the easiest to get up and running. They also have some nice looking portfolio themes. You can try this one out for free and then if you like it, upgrade to $8 a month to remove ads.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

I found that Word Press was a pretty simple platform to set up my web page. It’s quite popular both for websites and blogs. (Blogs are sites like the one we’re on that have chronologically and/or topically arranged entries). Here’s my site: https://rebekahrossfineart.wordpress.com (Please recognize that this page is a work in progress; I link it to show what a simple, free web page can look like). At the bottom of the page you’ll see a link “Create a free website or blog at WordPress.com.” It has limitations and ads. For a monthly fee you can also use the same tools to make a Word Press website, but have your site hosted on another platform, and have more flexibility and options (and your own webpage name and no ads). I haven’t done this yet, but will likely move my website onto a hosting platform once it gets better. Here’s an article about this: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wordpress-hosting/

I have been very happy with Artspan over the years. If you want something easy to maintain and update it works great. They also are ready to help with technical issues and make sure that your site will come up number one on Google. www.artspan.com
