Greetings, you are receiving this newsletter because you are registered for our Artist Round Table Bi-Monthly Zoom Sessions. We will be sending a follow-up newsletter like this after each session to highlight the key points that were discussed. First, we would like to congratulate two of the winners of the 15th Annual ARC Salon Competition.

The results are announced for the 7th ModPortrait painting contest centered exclusively in the portrait category in MEAM Barcelona, Spain. Congratulations to Nanci France-Vaz for being a finalist with her painting Love’s Kaleidoscope , and congratulations to Jamie Lindholm for her painting Roots of Universal Optimism for being chosen to be in the ModPortrait 2020 Catalog.

Members Newly Sold Works

We are excited about Shawna’s 8th annual art show, “In Plain Sight”. Starting February 12th, and running through February 19th, 2021. Tickets for the opening reception are already sold out, and we are sure the showcase will be spectacular!

Following up on the topic of copying, appropriation, and plagiarism, Laurie Szilvagyi recently visited Wyland Galleries of Sarasota, Fl, where she saw this Banksy “inspired” painting.
Below are the images of two paintings side by side, and digitally layered image - the similarities are uncanny!

If you have recently completed or sold work, and the topic did not come up during the session, you can always send it to me directly to be featured in the follow-up newsletter. Anya at aaaw.anyadrs@gmail.com

In between our bi-weekly Artist Round Table Sessions feel free to come and join the discussions on Smartermarx.
