Congratulations to Christine Porter Lofaro! Her solo show Essence at the Malta Society of Arts was a success. “Through an exploration of objects and figures, Porter Lofaro’s work seeks to offer a space where such fragile instances are brought to the forefront of our consideration. At the core of her work is a human connection as a compelling and inescapable emotive bond.”
Christine is on a roll! Her painting Life Goes On (25 x 25cm, Oil on Board) is a finalist in the British Art Prize 2022 and the 16th ARC Salon! currently, the painting is on display at Gallery@oxo, Oxo Tower Wharf, London.

In discussing magnification tools, Anthony shared that he uses a simple (no light attached) 2.5x clip magnifier. The glass for the magnifier came from this: Adjustable Helping Hand with Magnifying Glass. And the clip for it was taken from this device: Daylight UN91101 Mini Flexilens On 7-Inch Clip (The glass that came with the clip-on magnifier was terrible, which is why he replaced it.):
