Wow! I was thinking I’d never get there can’t wait!
These are great Martin! I hate the bumpy side so much, that I stopped using it. Since I buy my own paper (unlike the students at the Ani Academy) I feel the extra expense is worth the lack of frustration.
thanks barbara, ha i try to use every last inch of the paper to make it count. I should have kept my shape reps and origin/destination paper as i should have probably worked over the top of those.
i do like the textured effect of the bumpy side, but it’s obviously more appropriate for grainier rendering, I think of the smooth side as a reward for coping with the rough side, it’s like running with ankle weights on, and then taking them off, or something.
currently pondering on how i can fit the tiny stumps of charcoal pencil into my sharpener safely before i have to order more (maybe gluing them to a dowel…) it’s great that the ANI students don’t have to worry about that sort of thing - they get to focus purely on their art skills.
Great work, Martin!!
