Congratulations to Natalie Featherston! Her painting Magic 8 Ball (Oil on 3D Panel, 8x8x2") won Best In Show at the Richeson International 75 Small Works Show. The Richeson75 competitions are meant to offer a venue in which established and emerging artists may show their latest, best work to a wide and appreciative audience. The 75 finalists for each regular contest will exhibit their work in our beautiful Richeson Gallery and in the online exhibit. The Richeson75 online competitions also reach a wide audience with online exhibits of the 75 finalists’ work.


She has done it again!!! Debra’s three paintings, Muster (16x20", Oil on Panel), Start Your Engines ( 20x16", Oil on Panel), and Night Shift (20x16", Oil on Panel), will be accepted into the U.S. Coast Guard Art Program Permanent Government Collection on July 11, 2024. At the ceremony Debra will service commendations from an admiral!


Congratulations to Debra Keirce! Three of her miniature paintings have been selected for the invitational exhibition at The Snowgoose Gallery in Bethlehem, PA. All of Debra’s paintings are palm-size and will be on display at a charming gallery in a historic Pennsylvania town. The show opens on May 5th, 2024.


Celebrations are in order for the Principal Gallery in Alexandria, VA, marking an impressive 30 years of enriching the community with exceptional art. In honor of this milestone, the gallery proudly presents its 30th Anniversary Exhibition, featuring contributions from our numerous esteemed colleagues. This promises to be an unforgettable showcase, and all art enthusiasts are encouraged to attend. The exhibition kicks off with its grand opening on March 22, 2024.

COPY A MASTER OIL PAINTING - 6.12.2024 - 6.14.2024. All skill levels are invited to learn how to copy a master painting.
PAINTING AND DRAWING REALISM IN TUSCANY - 9.18.2024 - 9.25.2024. This workshop is an all-inclusive art retreat to the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Lodging in an upscale hotel with private rooms and baths, food, wine, excursions, and transportation to and from Florence airport are all included. And, of course, the workshop instruction will include fun painting experiences that emphasize how accurate drawings result in more realistic paintings.
