Debra Keirce and Maria Bennett Hock will be teaching a one-day workshop on sketching portraits in pencil and in the paint at WaterWorks, Miles City, MT. Debra Keirce will teach you how to recognize and draw a likeness from a photo. No matter what medium you work in, it is important to recognize value shapes. You cannot achieve high levels of realism with lines alone. This part of the workshop will appeal to anyone who would like to see a higher level of realism in their work.
